The RESSH Conference is the bi-annual conference of the international association ENRESSH (European Network for Research Evaluation in the SSH). It brings together specialists on various topics of research evaluation and research policy with a special focus on the social sciences, humanities and the arts (SSH).

Merle Jacob is Professor in Research Policy at Lund University, Sweden, and UNESCO Chair in Research Management and Innovation Systems. Merle has also been a member of the EU Expert Group on Indicators for Open Science. Merle’s research focus is on the governance of science and, in particular, the impact of research funding and evaluation. See here for an example of Merle’s most recent work:

Professor Jacob has been the Panel Chair for RiksBankens Jubileumsfond 2016-2020 and for the Swedish Research Council 2016-2019. She has also worked with UNESCO and the OECD Programme on Innovation, Higher Education and Research for Development (IHERD).
Dr. Samuel A. Moore is the Scholarly Communication Specialist at Cambridge University Library and a College Research Associate of King’s College Cambridge specialising in critical approaches to information studies and the digital humanities. His research explores the ethics and politics of academic knowledge production and research communication, specifically on topics relating to academic publishing, open research and community governance. He has a Ph.D in Digital Humanities from King’s College London and is also one of the organisers of the Radical Open Access Collective.
